On Saturday, May 6, Mike Goudreau–an acclaimed blues and jazz performer from Quebec–teams up for the first time in concert with Rick Erwin and Bob Purington (who performed at the Balsams for years) for a memorable night of music.
The Great North Woods Committee for the Arts, which has brought over 300 concerts to the region, returns to Lancaster at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, April 18 with a show by the Scottish trio Cantrip. “We are pleased to have this opportunity to work again with the folks at the Rialto Theatre on Main Street in downtown Lancaster,” said GNWCA President Charlie Jordan. “It’s been a few years since we’ve sponsored a show in Lancaster. We’re hoping to have a good turnout for Cantrip and be able to bring more world-class performers to Lancaster.” In the past the GNWCA brought such performers as the Tartan Terrors, the Tannahill Weavers, the Barra McNeils, the Shaw Brothers, Newfound Road and Cantrip to the Rialto stage.
