Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing will be performing on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m., for what will be a night of top-flight bluegrass by one of the region’s favorites. Presented by the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts, this summer evening show will be held outdoors at the Great North Woods Center for the Arts on U.S. Rte. 3 in Columbia.
The Fretless, a Canadian string foursome, is returning to the North Country on Sunday, July 14, when the award-winning group will present a live concert at the Great North Woods Center for the Arts.
The Fretless performs traditional Celtic-infused folk music and this will be the band’s third return to the area, having first come north in 2015. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and will take place on an outdoor stage on the sprawling grounds. Tickets are $15 per person and available online at www.gnwca.org or can be purchased at Fiddleheads on 110 Main St. in Colebrook.
