The Great North Woods Committee for the Arts is sponsoring Camerata New England, a highly esteemed professional chamber ensemble, in its return to the North Country on Saturday, Oct. 5, with a Brahms concert. The performance will be held at 7 p.m. in the Monadnock Congregational Church on Main Street in Colebrook.

Award-winning Vermont movie director Jay Craven will present his newest film, “Northern Borders,” at a special screening at the Tillotson Center for the Arts on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. The movie, filmed primarily in the Northeast Kingdom, is hosted by the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts. Craven will be on hand to introduce the picture and lead a post-film discussion following the screening.
