Two of the top international guitarists presently on the touring circuit are coming to Colebrook for what promises to be a memorable show on Friday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m.

The Summer Concert Series hosted by the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts continues bringing top-notch groups of musicians to the area. Next up is Montana Skies, a classically trained duo that takes the cello and guitar places seldom heard before.
Montana Skies is coming to the Tillotson Center on Carriage Lane in Colebrook on Monday, July 21. Their name, Montana Skies, is a metaphor for musical freedom, and they continue to follow their creative instincts far beyond traditional boundaries. In concert, these award-winning musicians delve into music from Pink Floyd and Rush to Vivaldi, and “House of the Rising Sun,” as well as their own originals that have been featured everywhere from NPR to the Travel Channel. The Nova Scotia Super group Còig will be appearing at the Tillotson Center in Colebrook next Tuesday, July 15, at 7 p.m. They are the second in the special Summer Concert Series sponsored by the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts at the center.
“These are among the top in-demand musicians in the Maritimes and it is exciting to have this aggregation together for the first time in Colebrook,” said Charlie Jordan, president of the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts. |
