Headed up by Laura Scott, which the Washington Post calls a “Spectacularly nimble and graceful performer” and who has been recognized by the Boston Globe as “a showstopper…enchanting, graceful and high-twirling,” it will be a memorable evening unlike anything which has graced the local stage to date. The Winter Warmers Concert Series, the annual fundraiser for the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts, gets underway on Friday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Colebrook Country Club by saluting the lights of Broadway. “Beloved Broadway” is the theme of the musical showcase being presented by two of the area’s talented musicians, Johanna Schillemat and Sharon Pearson. They expect to bring a few of their talented friends along to shine the light on songs from the Great White Way.
