Colebrook's Carriage Lane Players, the new theater group in town, will be performing in Neil Simon's “Barefoot in the Park” this month at the Tillotson Center. The show is sponsored by the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts.
The play is about a young newlywed couple in the late 1960s that have moved into an apartment in New York. The young Corie (portrayed by Naomi Going of Lancaster) is on a mission to set up her mother, (the darling and local Laurie Cotnoir), with the enticing and eccentric upstairs neighbor (portrayed by local talent Steve Bunnell), all while making the perfect new love nest for herself and her new husband, Paul (portrayed by John Quigley of Whitefield). Craziness ensues as Corie schemes behind both her mother and husbands back. Comic relief is also found in the small roles made big by local players Rebecca Larson and Joanne Herrick.

Shows are on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $15 each or a block of four for $40.
